House rules

Evening mood over the outdoor area of the Bogn Engiadina
The house rules serve to ensure safety, order and cleanliness at Bogn Engiadina in Scuol and thus benefit all visitors and guests. The use of all offers requires mutual consideration. In order to guarantee this, we have drawn up house rules.

1. General

1.1 – These house rules apply to all the indoor and outdoor areas on the «Bogn Engiadina Scuol (BES) SA» grounds. Upon entering the facility, every guest accepts the house rules as well as all other regulations that serve to uphold operational safety.

1.2 – Use of the facilities can be entirely or partially restricted for technical, safety, weather-related or organisational reasons. In such cases, patrons cannot claim a refund of their admission fees.

1.3 – Bogn Engiadina is a swimming, wellness and health resort that maintains an appropriate atmosphere to ensure the satisfaction of its customers. Every guest is obliged to behave in accordance with this policy at all times

1.4 – Guests must refrain from any kind of excessive noise, disorderly conduct, disturbances or harassment of other people. Such behaviour may be reported to the police. People who dirty or contaminate the facilities deliberately or as a result of negligence have to pay for the subsequent examination and cleaning.

1.5 – The corridors and staircases must be kept clear at all times to avoid inconveniencing other guests. Gathering in groups to chat and hang around in these areas is therefore prohibited.

1.6 – Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building and in the outside areas of the pools and saunas. This applies to e-cigarettes as well. There are specially designated smoking areas outside the building.

1.7 – The unauthorised consumption of alcohol on the Bogn Engiadina grounds is forbidden. The possession, consumption and sale of any kind of drugs is also banned. Anyone found contravening this rule will be reported to the police. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to enter the Bogn Engiadina facility and grounds

1.8 – All guests are liable for any damage they cause. Management reserves the right to report damage to the police and pursue other legal action. Any damage must be reported to the reception or the pool attendants. Anyone who deliberately or accidentally sets off an alarm is required to pay for all the associated costs.

1.9 – The notice boards are for internal use only. Unauthorised printed materials are not allowed to be displayed anywhere at Bogn Engiadina

1.10 – Hawkers are banned from the entire facility and grounds, unless they are approved by management.

1.11 – We would prefer guests not to bring any pets into the indoor area at Bogn Engiadina. Exceptions are made for guide dogs.

1.12 – Any personal belongings that have been accidentally left behind are to be handed in at reception or given to one of the pool attendants. You can inform the reception if you have lost any items. Guests who lose their key/chip will be charged an administrative fee of CHF 50. The lockers in the changing rooms are emptied daily.

1.13 – Theft must be reported to the reception or the pool attendants. Bogn Engiadina does not accept any liability for stolen or lost personal belongings.

1.14 – All parking spaces are subject to fees. Motorbikes, mopeds and bicycles are to be parked in the designated areas and may not be brought inside the building.

1.15 – The use of bicycles, roller skates, inline skates, scooters, etc. is prohibited inside the entire building including the lifts.

1.16 – The carrying and use of cell phones, smartphones, tablets and all other devices with camera functions is strictly prohibited. Exceptions may be authorised by the management.

1.17 – The complete indoor and outdoor areas on the Bogn Engiadina grounds is under video-surveillance. The signage of the video- surveillance is visible on all entrance doors of the building and furthermore in the changing area. Video-surveillance is based on the regulations «Videoüberwachung im Bogn Engiadina».

1.18 – The facility is open daily from 7.00 am – 11.00 pm. No visitors are allowed to enter the facility outside these times without express permission.

1.19 – Guests must obey instructions given by the staff at all times.

2. Bathing area

2.1 – Children and adolescents under 18 years can visit the bathing area from 10.30 am onwards; children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult, who is required to supervise them

2.2 – Outdoor footwear is not permitted in the barefoot area.

2.3 – For hygienic reasons, guests must not wear underwear underneath their swimsuits or swimming shorts.

2.4 – Guests must shower before entering the pools, after leaving the steam room, as well as after using the salt water pool. Guests are kindly asked to use water to clean the area they were sitting on before leaving the steam rooms.

2.5 – Swimming at Bogn Engiadina is fun even without ball sports, flippers, snorkels, etc. An exception to this rule is made for special recreational programmes organised by Bogn Engiadina. It is forbidden to bring any kind of foreign object into the pools; this applies particularly to putting snow in the outdoor pools. However small children and people with disabilities are permitted to use flotation devices.

2.6 – Jumping into the pools, climbing the water fountain and all other attractions is not allowed.

2.7 – Guests are not allowed to use towels to reserve lounge chairs, chairs or tables. Any such towels will be removed by the pool attendants.

2.8 – For safety reasons we recommend removing any jewellery while swimming.

2.9 – Eating and drinking is only permitted in the bistro area.

2.10 – The carrying and use of cell phones, smartphones, tablets and all other devices with camera functions is strictly prohibited.

3. Sauna area

3.1 – Children and adolescents under 18 are only permitted at certain times. They must constantly be accompanied by an adult and adhere to all the sauna rules.

3.2 – The entire sauna area (excluding the chill-out room on the first floor) is a clothing-free zone. Guests may only use this area if they are naked (towels are permitted

3.3 – Guests must shower before using the plunge pool.

3.4 – Guests must take a sufficiently large towel into the sauna to sit on, so that the seating areas do not become soiled. For hygiene reasons, your entire body including your feet must be on the towel.

3.5 – Guests are kindly asked to use water to clean the area they were sitting on before leaving the steam rooms.

3.6 – The sauna area is a rest and relaxation zone. Therefore, it is vital that guests behave appropriately.

3.7 – Only staff members are permitted to put water and infusions onto the hot stones in the saunas. Guests are not allowed to put their own aromatic substances into the sauna infusions

3.8 – The carrying and use of cell phones, smartphones, tablets and all other devices with camera functions is strictly prohibited.

4. Roman-Irish bathhouse

4.1 – Access is granted to adults of 18 years of age and older only.

4.2 – Guests must wear bathing sandals such as flip-flops

4.3 – The Roman-Irish bathhouse is a clothing-free zone. Guests may only use this area if they are naked (togas are permitted).

4.4 – Guests must shower before starting the bathhouse circuit, as well as after using the saunas and steam rooms.

4.5 – Guests must sit on their togas in the saunas and steam rooms

4.6 – Guests are kindly asked to use water to clean the area they were sitting on before leaving the steam rooms.

4.7 – The Roman-Irish bathhouse is a place for quiet contemplation. Therefore, it is vital that guests behave appropriately and keep noise to a minimum.

4.8 – It is forbidden to bring any kind of foreign object into the pools.

4.9 – The carrying and use of cell phones, smartphones, tablets and all other devices with camera functions is strictly prohibited.

4.10 – For organisational reasons and to ensure all guests can enjoy the same relaxing experience, we kindly ask you to strictly adhere to the designated times for the 10 stations in the Roman-Irish bathhouse.

Consequences of breaking the house rules

Guests who violate the house rules may be asked to leave Bogn Engiadina. The management reserves the right to report guests to the police and ban them from entering the facility.
